Beautiful, native, and delicious! Lovely white flowers turn to purple Juneberries - popular with humans and wildlife - excellent fresh, in jams, jellies, and pies.
Beautiful blue-tinged foliage turns to gorgeous shades of red and orange in fall. Low maintenance. Multi-stemmed or single. They love moist, well-draining soil and have their best berry production in full sun, although they do tolerate partial shade.
Self pollinating, but planting another serviceberry nearby can greatly increase yields.
Excellent for wildlife - 🦋Serviceberries are the host plant for at least 120 different butterfly & moth species, and support at least 26 different bird species🐦!
