Acer griseum


A slow growing, upright tree with exfoliating bark exposing an exquisite cinnamon color underneath. Orange to scarlet-red fall foliage color. Native to China. Striking specimen, popular for bonsai. Prefers moist, well-draining soil; does well in clay soils.
