Rare. Best suited as a fresh flavoring or finishing garnish. Leaves are blended into pesto, salad dressings, sprinkled over soups, salads, or bruschetta. Wonderful pollinator plant. Hybrid tender perennial basil. May be overwintered indoors in containers by bright, sunny windows.
