Southern favorite from 1973. Fast-growing, producing medium to large fiery red freestone peaches with juicy yellow flesh. Excellent for eating fresh and cooking. Self-pollinating, but best yields when planted near another variety. Moderate resistance to bacterial spot, brown rot, and flesh browning.
