Dazzling colors! Native to the Brazilian rainforest, these epiphytes use their roots for anchoring.

Bright filtered light, well draining soil, medium-high humidity. Water the "cups", ensuring they never dry out. Rainwater is best, but filtered or distilled water are ok - avoid high-mineral water.

In the tropical rainforest, the "cups" are valuable sources of water for other forms of wildlife, including tiny frogs who will use them to breed in.
