Handsome strappy green leaves on these low maintenance plants. Native to Taiwan and the southern islands of Japan. Deemed the hard-to-kill houseplant. Great beginner plant.

Prefers slightly moist soil; good drainage is important. They do have an underground rhizome and it is important to avoid overwatering, lest it become damaged. Can tolerate bright indirect light, medium and low light.

Good air cleaner.

Keep above 50°F as it can go into dormancy. Slowly grows to 2-3’T x 1-2’W.
