This wonderful European pear matures about a week after Bartlett and shows some resistance to fire-blight. The medium-to-large pears are sweet, soft, and juicy with little grit. Best for fresh eating, canning, and cooking.

Must be pollinated by another European pear; it is a strong pollinator for other European pear varieties.
