Fragrant, gorgeous single red flowers (3-5”) with showy yellow stamens bloom in early spring. Seed was originally collected in Korea. One of the most cold hardy Camellias, reportedly surviving a cold snap of -23F. Compact, with beautiful evergreen foliage. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. Protect from winter winds.

Zones 6-9, cold hardy down to -10F and possibly much colder.
