Rich purple, glossy, rounded leaves cloak the cascading branches of this fine specimen tree. Creates a handsome, narrow silhouette with a strong upright form. Slower growing than a typical beech - needs no pruning to maintain its graceful shape. Foliage color fades through summer. Deciduous.
