Rhododendron periclymenoides syn. Rhododendron nudiflorum
RARE. Clusters of soft pink to white to lavender, slightly fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers. Bright green foliage turns yellow in fall. Deciduous. Bark is gray to reddish-brown and finely shredded. WNC Native. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
Prefers morning sun, afternoon shade, and moist, well-draining soil.
