Slow growing, semi dwarf mounded shrubby variety will eventually attain a conical habit. They feature incredible lemon-yellow threadlike evergreen foliage, excellent as a border shrubs and garden accents where bold color is desired. They lend an extremely fine and delicate texture to the landscape composition which can make them a great accent feature on this basis alone. 

'Lemon Thread' also do well in large containers, and with their evergreen foliage, provide excellent year-round interest.

These are durable, long-lived plants. Plant in moist, well-draining soil.

Species is native to central and south Japan. AKA Sawara Cypress.
