Tulip - Queen of the Night
Tulipa x
Simply gorgeous! Tulip 'Queen of Night' has shiny, maroon-purple-black blooms like no other! Every plant collector should grow these at one point in their lives. The large, perfectly shaped single blooms display well on the tall stems and create a stunning effect in the flowering border or as a distinctive cut flower. Fabulous when massed. Long beloved heirloom from the 1940s, that bloom mid to late spring.
They can be planted in the ground or in containers. In containers, you can combine them with bulbs that bloom at different times, so you can enjoy an enduring, spectacular show of blooms.
Ideal for Children's Gardens, Cottage Gardens, Cutting Gardens, English Gardens, Flower Meadows, Goth gardens, Pollinator Gardens, and more!
