'Jade Butterflies' is a fruitless male Ginkgo, with inconspicuous yellow-green catkins in mid-spring. 

Slow-growing, eventually becoming a stunning shade tree with age. Long lived. Deciduous.

In China, many old temples were planted with female and male ginkgoes, to ensure the monks had food to eat. The nuts are usually boiled or roasted.
