Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Red Dragon’

Leaves emerge bright cherry-red in spring, mature to burgundy-red in summer, and are known for hanging onto the red color well, even in hot summers. Fall color changes to crimson-red. Upright, pendulous habit - forms an elegant, cascading mound. Compact, slow growing. Fantastic as a small specimen, in containers, and for bonsai.
