Joe Pye Weed 'Baby Joe'
Eutrochium dubium 'Baby Joe' (formerly Eupatorium, Eupatoriadelphus dubius)

Beautiful, sturdy, butterfly magnets! Perfect for smaller gardens and wet areas. Eutrochium 'Baby Joe' display dark red-purple stems topped with large domed mauve flowers in late summer and fall. Fabulous pollinator plants, these are serious butterfly magnets! Songbirds enjoy the seeds. Resilient plants, though these are moisture lovers and would enjoy being in rain gardens and wet areas of the garden. Road salt tolerant. 'Baby Joe' is a compact selection of a WNC native species.
