Gorgeous plants with a variety of striking patterns. In the Marantaceae family, they are native to tropical rainforests in the Americas and are happiest in high humidity. Prefer medium to low light and moist (not wet) well-draining soil. Keep above 60°F. Slow growing. Sizes vary per variety.

Calatheas are usually happiest in bathrooms, terrariums, or when given a pet humidifier.
