Apple (Malus) ‘Yellow Transparent’ Semi-dwarf 7 Gal.

Early ripening 1870s heirloom variety with firm, sweet white flesh with an almost citrusy-fresh flavor. Best for cooking - makes an incredible applesauce - and fresh eating. Super tasty when sliced with little bit of sugar sprinkled on top. Semi-spur. Thinning fruits is recommended.

Early bloomer. Pollinator required. Early harvests.

Disease resistances: Resistant to apple scab, moderate resistance to cedar apple rust.


1870s heirloom from Russia. Also known as Glass Apple or White Transparent. Excellent for colder locations, such as the northern sides of slopes and at the tops of mountains.
