Azurea Lawson Cypress

Chaecyparis lawsoniana 'Azurea'

RARE. Flat feathery sprays of outstanding dusty blue foliage grow upward to create a slender form with a casual look. Azurea Lawson Cypress maintains this color year-round, providing a calming presence in the garden. Being a narrow form, there are many opportunities for garden sites where height is desired but the footprint is limited.

The Lawson Cypress requires very well-drained soil and will tolerate drought conditions. Be certain to amend very well when planting in our clay soils.

Lawson's Cypress, also known as Port Orford Cedar, is a US Native - from Oregon and NW California. They can be found growing in the valleys of the Klamath mountains.

These beauties are really hard to photograph - to the eye, they are one of the bluest plants we've ever carried.
