Citrus - Satsuma - China S-6 Citrus unshiu

RARE. Bearing good crops of round, bright orange, sweet, very flavorful, easy to peel fruit. S-6 is known for its good vigor, cold hardiness, and fruit quality. Very few to no seeds. Zone 9 but possibly can handle colder.

In the 1990s, there were a series of Satsumas brought to the USA from China, after they survived a serious cold weather event. S-6 is one of those survivors.

Bring indoors when temperatures drop below 50°F degrees and place by a large bright window, or use supplemental lighting.
