Rose - Climbing - Zépherine Drouhin
Classic romance - deep rose pink 4” blooms, with 17-25 petals per lovely bloom. Perfect cascading over a trellis or arbor. From 1868 France, and beloved by gardeners ever since. Almost thornless. Tolerates part shade. Loves to be pampered, and enjoys her roots kept cool and moist.
Scent: Strong - Classic damask rose, with notes of raspberry.
Repeat bloomer, with the largest amount of blooms in spring. Deadhead and fertilize (more info below) to encourage reblooming.
For the most abundant flowers, apply Espoma Rose tone monthly throughout the growing season - May through September here in Western NC.
