RARE. A dwarf red Japanese maple that was found as a dwarf mutation commonly referred to as a witches' broom. Bright cherry red foliage in the spring, turning a darker maroon during the summer, and a bright crimson red in fall. This outstanding yet diminuitive plant provides bright color in small spaces. Can be grown in containers.

Zones 5-9 / cold hardy down to -20F.
