Lavandula x intermedia 'Grosso' 

Beloved hybrid grown for their incredibly fragrant dark blue flower spikes and vigorous growth habit. With nice wide gray-green foliage, 'Grosso' are large growers & bloom heavily with fat spikes loaded with flowers - for lavender wands, sachets, & culinary use. 

High oil content, with more camphor than English Lavenders. 

Grosso Lavender is a relatively late bloomer.

Lavendula x intermedia is a naturally occurring hybrid of Lavendula angustifolia (English Lavender) and Lavendula latifolia (Portuguese Lavender). Grosso Lavender was discovered growing in France in 1972 by Pierre Grosso.
