Rosemary - Arp
Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Arp’
🌿The best Rosemary we know of for WNC!
Exceptionally cold-hardy (for a Rosemary), aromatic, excellent culinary flavor, evergreen foliage, and beautiful sky blue flowers! Belongs in every kitchen garden, veggie plot, and herb garden. Rosemary makes an excellent potted plant, particularly in terra cotta for porches or patios. Perennial. Full sun. Drought and heat tolerant once established.
Discovered by the late Madalene Hill in Arp, Texas. This plant was sent to the National Arboretum who were so impressed when it survived -10F that they named it Arp.
❤️RCN Staff Favorite - many of us are growing 'Arp' Rosemary in our own gardens!
Rosemary requires excellent drainage.
