Silvery foliage is topped by LARGE, dense purple flower spikes! Sweet lavender floral fragrance with low camphor - perfect fresh cut flowers and for drying and using in arrangements. The flowers are also edible. Compact, dense habit and notable durability for sun, heat, and humidity, as well as cold tolerance. Deadhead to promote reblooming. 

Lavendula x intermedia is a naturally occurring hybrid of Lavendula angustifolia (English Lavender) and Lavendula latifolia (Portuguese Lavender). Sensational was bred by Lloyd Traven, based on the famously beautiful, resilient, and fragrant Phenomenal Lavender.
