Pieris Japonica ‘Mountain Fire’ 3 Gal

Japanese Andromeda 'Mountain Fire'
Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire'

Exceptional! Beautiful fiery red new growth rises from the lustrous evergreen foliage then ages to a deep green. Profuse, broad, drooping clusters of white flowers cool the flames, creating a breathtaking spring show. An ideal shrub for use in a foundation planting or landscape groupings, and an excellent companion shrub for azaleas. In time, these will be large enough to use as hedges.

These unusual plants are native to east Asia, and are in the Rhododendron family.

🦌Extremely Deer Resistant: deer and other herbivores tend to actively avoid these plants.

10'T x W.

Zones 5-7, cold hardy down to -20F.
