Beautiful light crimson buds gradually open to reveal very deep velvety crimson blooms. Flowers are large cups at first, becoming shallowly cupped with time, with up to 74 petals per gorgeous bloom. Bushy, spreading growth; young bronze-red foliage later turns to green. A lovely rose enchanting gardens since 2007.
Named after the home of a famous British horticulturalist Gertrude Jekyll.
Scent: strong Old Rose fragrance with warm, fruity notes of blackberry and blueberry.
