Hydrangea - Limelight
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’ PP#12,874
Huge, exquisite flowers are an elegant celadon green that looks fresh and clean in summer's heat - changing to cream, and ending with hues of pink, reds, and burgundies in fall. Enjoy the gorgeous and extended flower display in your garden, as cut flowers filling your home, and as dried flowers to use in decor. They are a favorite of florists and RCN staff who create our all-natural dried wreaths. In addition to the spectacular flowers, their dark green foliage turns red-purple in fall.
Panicle Hydrangeas are vigorous, upright plants that can be used as both specimen plants and as colorful hedges. They are very sturdy and resilient, and are more tolerant of sunlight than other types of Hydrangeas. Limelights can also handle our mountain winters with ease, and are reliable bloomers. They are best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in full sun.
Species is native to East Asia. Award-winning.
