Fatsia japonica syn. Aralia sieboldii and Aralia japonica

Lush, tropical, evergreen foliage. Native to Japan and Korea, in the Araliaceae family. 'Spider Web' has fantastic variegation along the edges of the leaves.

Prefers bright to medium filtered light, medium to high humidity, and moist well-draining soil. For best appearance, keep above 50°F. Sizing varies on cultivar, but easily pruned in late winter to keep full and bushy.

Zones 7b-10a - almost but not quite hardy here in the mountains of Western North Carolina
