A prehistoric giant! These fabulous ferns can get HUGE. They have a single furry brown trunk, and the baby fronds are covered in brown and white hairs. They are native to Australia.

They prefer moist, well-draining soils kept consistently moist but not saturated, and should not dry out completely. Reduce water in winter and avoid watering the crown. High humidity, bright to medium indirect light. Keep above 65°F.

When happy, they can reach 15-25’T x 10-12’W, but will be smaller in containers.
