Medium-to-large, richly butterscotch flavored fruit with good texture makes this an outstanding variety. A good keeper, and fire blight resistant. Very productive and a heavy bearer. Best for fresh eating and canning. Blooms midseason, harvest late season. Pears can keep up to 2 months in proper cold storage.

The well-shaped trees do well in hot climates.

Must be pollinated by another Asian pear.

Disease resistance: Very resistant to fireblight.

500 chill hours.

Zones 4-9, cold hardy down to -30F.
