Best for fresh eating and canning. Blooms midseason, harvest late season. Pears can keep up to 2 months in proper cold storage.

Shinko means ‘new success’ in Japanese.

Must be pollinated by another Asian pear.

Disease resistance: Very resistant to fireblight.
