Acer palmatum ‘Wolff’
A truly magnificent cultivar. Foliage emerges deep purple-red in spring, holds its color throughout the summer, and turns a brilliant scarlet in fall. Black-red bark adds winter interest. Leaves bud out later in spring, allowing it to withstand damage from late frosts. Vigorous, graceful tree is a regal specimen.
Zones 5-9, cold hardy down to -20F.
