A garden classic with large snowball-type white flowers - up to 12" blooms - and dark green leaves. Excellent for border, foundation, and mass plantings. Species is a WNC Native. Prefers cool, moist habitats. Deer resistant. Was found in the wild near Anna, IL. 

🌿Can be planted near Black Walnut trees.
🦋Host plant to the beautiful Hydrangea Sphinx Moth.
💧Prefers ample moisture.
