Simply gorgeous! Large 3.5” semi to double soft, romantic pink blooms with red blotches. Long bloom period. Compact. Dense, evergreen foliage. Excellent low-growing hedges, borders, and foundation plants. Slow growing. Prefers morning sun, afternoon shade, and moist, well-draining soil.

💚Plant Nerd: Robert Gartrell of Wyckoff, New Jersey was an Azalea fanatic and plant breeder, which he pursued outside of his "real job" of being a chemist. Starting in 1937, he started to bloom cold hardy, late blooming Azaleas that resembled the Satsuki hybrid Azaleas. Out of some 25,000 seedlings, he finalized down to 29 prized cultivars, many of which are still valued and beloved for gardens today. Robert married his highschool sweetheart - Nancy - and named this truly beautiful Azalea after her.
