A vigorous grower offering exceptional glossy dark green leaves and a heavy display of showy light green aging to white flower bracts. Large, edible, attractive salmon-colored fruit. Purple fall foliage. Prefer moist, well-draining soil - be sure to keep well-watered during droughts.

Found at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, C. kousa are native to east Asia. Kousa Dogwoods are more cold hardy and have better disease resistance than our native Dogwoods.
