Rose - David Austin® Lady of Shalott

English Rose - Climbing


Rich orange-red buds open to chalice-shaped blooms, filled with loosely arranged, orange petals. Outer salmon-pink petals with beautifully contrasting golden yellow undersides. Up to 60 petals per gorgeous bloom. Quickly forms a bushy shrub with slightly arching stems.


From 2009, to celebrate the poet Lord Tennyson.


Scent: Tea fragrance, with hints of spiced apple and cloves.


For the most abundant flowers, apply Espoma Rose tone monthly throughout the growing season - May through September here in Western NC.
