Magnolia grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty’
An elegant, compact, and dense flowering tree producing lustrous, leathery foliage with a fuzzy brown underside. Large, showy, 5-6” creamy white flowers appear in late spring and are exotically fragrant. Bracken's Brown Beauty is one of the more cold hardy Southern Magnolias, and does very well here in the Asheville area. Evergreen.
Zones 6-9.
