Creamy white flowers turn to plump blue fruits, rich green leaves turn reddish purple in fall, and in winter the outstanding red stems shine. Resilient plants attract birds & butterflies; excellent for slopes. Sizeable plants make an excellent backdrop in the back of beds, mixed with evergreens. US Native. Remove 1/3rd of old stems in early spring to generate fresh new vibrant red ones.

🦌Deer resistant: Cornus sericea plants aren't at the top of the deer menu.

Full sun to partial shade.
