Wonderful broadleaf evergreens that create lush privacy hedges. Glossy, medium green evergreen foliage with a refined look on a dense, vase-shaped form that has a layered appearance. Bees love the fragrant white spring flowers; birds adore the black drupes. Best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in full sun to full shade. Lovely specimen or hedge. Native to southern Europe.
