Excellent yields of superb quality berries. Large black glossy fruits have a rich raspberry flavor.  Tasty choice for fresh eating, desserts, jams, jellies, and more. Self-fertile. Fruits on 2nd year canes.


Species (Rubus occidentalis) is native to Western North Carolina.

Disease resistances: Resistant to root rot; medium resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew.

Zones 5-8 - cold hardy to -20F.
