NATIVAR! A compact cultivar which features aromatic white flowers arranged in flat-topped foamy clusters in Apr.-May. Followed by clusters of ovoid berries from light pink to purplish black. Excellent, long-lasting burgundy fall color. Plant with other Possumhaw Viburnums nearby (Viburnum nudum) plants for best fruiting. In the wild, this species is found in low, wet woods and boggy areas.

These plants prefer moist, well drained loose soil, but are widely adaptable. Once established, they are resistant to heat, drought, and soil compaction.
