Gorgeous, unique, early-blooming WNC native shade plants, appearing in April and May. Large-Flowered Bell-wort’s yellow flowers and green leaves appear very droopy when in bloom. Perfect for the woodland garden, shaded border front, wildflower garden or naturalized area.
These perennials are easily grown in average, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. They spread slowly by rhizomes.
These plants help our native bees: Bumblebees, Mason bees, Halictid bees, and Andrenid bees!
