Upright habit with bluish-green foliage, and reddish-brown exfoliating bark. Bee magnet! Golden yellow flowers, up to 2” across. Species is a WNC native. Deciduous. Low maintenance - drought tolerant once established.
A very beautiful and underutilized plant.
