Rhododendron 'Roseum Pink'

Rhododendron catawbiense 'Roseum Pink'

Smothered in stunning clusters of pink trumpet-shaped flowers with lavender overtones and dark red spots. Distinctive purple flower buds emerge from the ends of the branches in mid spring. It has dark green foliage. Evergreen.

Prefers morning sun, afternoon shade, and moist, well-draining soil.

'Roseum Pink' Rhododendron was hybridized by Anthony Waterer in England, back in 1851. These cold hardy Rhododendrons do very well here in Western North Carolina.

Zones 4-8.
