A relatively vigorous, rounded cultivar that is slightly taller than wide, with beautiful, glossy, medium green foliage. Its habit is more uniform and tighter. Due to the increased vigor, plan to prune these once or twice a year to keep a formal shape. Disease and pest resistant. Foliage may bronze in winter. Species is native to Japan.

🛡️Naturally Disease Resistant: It was selected due to its strong resistance to boxwood blight and resistance to boxwood leafminer. However, we do not recommend planting these in a location that was previously impacted by boxwood blight.

🦌Deer Resistant: moderately resistant to damage from deer.
