Philodendron 'Florida Ghost'
Philodendron x ‘Florida Ghost’
RARE. New foliage emerges a unique creamy-white, turning to rich dark green offset by red petioles on these easy-care houseplants. Showstoppers in any plant collection, they can grow up to 6', but are easily pruned to whatever shape and size you prefer. To more quickly unlock their mature foliage shapes, (which do resemble a ghost when you look at them upside-down), grow them on a pole.
Florida Ghosts love bright, indirect light. In less light, the new foliage will appear more green.
They prefer to medium to high humidity, and will be happiest above 60F.
Philodendron is a genus of the family Araceae. Florida Ghost is thought to be a cross between Philodendron petatum and Philodendron squamiferum.
