Sturdy, low-maintenance WNC Native plants that make an excellent groundcover, especially in poor and hot soils. Fuzzy white little flowers in early to late spring float above semi-evergreen foliage. Drought tolerant once established.
🦋Host and Nectar plant for pollinators, including here in NC: the American Lady butterfly which heavily relies on these plants for both, and 3 different species of little moths.
