Gorgeous! Stunning fronds emerge orange-copper-red, turning to vibrant, life-affirming greens. Glossy and oh-so-stunning in the shade garden. They spread via underground creeping rhizomes. 

These ferns are quite sturdy. They can handle urban conditions. While they prefer moist, well-draining soil, they have relatively good drought tolerance (for a fern) once established.

Native to East Asia.

Partial to deep shade.
