The flowers retain a deep red hue even as they fade. From the Gold® series, Helleborus Ice N’ Roses Red is a sturdy hybrid bred in Germany by Josef Heuger.

These European and Western Asian natives are remarkably forgiving plants. They thrive in partial shade with well-draining soil and ask for minimal maintenance once established. After flowering, a generous application of organic compost or manure supports their vigor.
