A McIntosh x Red Delicious cross that has great McIntosh flavor with the crispness of Red Delicious. Apples are dark red, juicy, firm, crunchy, and sweet. Keeps well - apples can be good up to 6 months in proper cold storage. Best for fresh eating, sauces, and pies. Spur-bearer.

Early bloomer. Pollinator required.

Disease resistances: Resistant to cedar apple rust, some resistant to fire blight.
